Brinker Lofts represents the first of its kind Federal Opportunity Zone investment project in Pennsylvania.  Jefferson-Werner was selected by Lehigh University for their first public-private partnership for reuse of the original Lehigh Valley Cold Storage building built in 1893.  While maintaining the primary facades, Jefferson-Werner presented a winning design to introduce 30 market-rate apartments into the historic structure and in the process compiled a capital stack to include PA State and Federal HTC’s and a $4.2 million dollar Opportunity Zone investment from PNC Bank.  The project closed and broke ground in August 2018 and was completed in July of 2019.
